I sit between business and technology. For seventeen years my job has been to walk into something ambiguous—a new technology, a vague problem, a business that can’t yet say what it needs—and come out with a clear answer on what to build and what to leave alone.

I work at both ends of that: the strategy conversation, and the architecture review.

I’m a named inventor on ten granted US patents in blockchain, and I’ve shipped AI into a twenty-year-old telecom stack. Neither was a pilot.

More often than not I’m the one arguing we don’t need it—that was true with blockchain, it’s true with AI now. The simplest thing that works is usually the right answer, and getting there before the money is spent is most of the leverage.

I’ve written three books—Tech Unlocked for Non-Tech Product Managers, Internet of Transactions, and The Success Habits. Two are about translating technology into decisions; the third is about actually getting things done.

What keeps me busy

LEXI Platform—AI-native trade and payments infrastructure for Indian exporters, built out of GIFT City. I’m co-founder and CEO. Its subsidiary, LexiMoney, holds in-principle approval as a Payment Service Provider under IFSCA. Documentation and compliance are live in private beta; payments are on the roadmap.

MoneeFlo—an RBI-licensed forex company (FFMC). Foreign university payments, currency exchange and travel cards for tier-2+ India, where the banks don’t reach. I own the product, including the internal systems that run it. We took outward remittances from zero to a peak of $37M in annualised TPV, serving around 2,500 Indian students a year through roughly 400 onboarded channel partners.

one7x Labs—founded this year. It removes manual work from business operations with AI agents built into the systems a company already runs on. Early, and I’ll write about it as it goes.

The journey so far

2003

Built a simple order & inventory software for a stationery shop using C++—freshly learnt at school. Didn't know it then, but this was the beginning of a lifelong obsession with building things.

2009

Joined Ericsson India. Worked across 11 countries and eventually relocated to Uruguay in South America—an experience that fundamentally shaped how I think about scale, systems, and people.

2016

While completing my PG in Marketing & Strategy from MDI Gurugram, built oneCommerce—a SaaS connecting FMCG brands with their distributors, wholesalers & retailers. Featured image-based product identification for on-shelf brand visibility reporting. ITC (Maharashtra & Goa) was a notable customer.

2018

Joined Jio Platforms in Mumbai. Started on 5G products, then started Reliance's blockchain initiative from a whiteboard—the architecture, the approach, and the teams. The platform benchmarked at 35,000 transactions per second. Owned the product for multiple fintech use cases built on it, internal and external. Left leading a team of 4 PMs, 3 Blockchain architects, and ~70 engineers.

2020

Co-founded Kirana Truck during COVID—a weekly grocery delivery service on wheels, bringing a shop-like experience and local prices directly to housing societies. At its peak it reached 6,500 households a week and sold to 2,500 of them—38% weekly penetration, and profitable. Wound down eventually due to capital intensity and seasonal nature.

2022

Moved to Delhi and joined Airtel Digital as Principal PM. Sat on customer calls and visited Airtel Centres to consolidate the voice of the customer for leadership—then specced and shipped the AI that industrialised it, into a stack twenty years old. Cross-channel journeys, and the GTM for new features and ops processes.

2023

Walked away from a job for the last time. Co-founded MoneeFlo—one of India's first online LRS platforms built for tier-2 and tier-3 cities. Holds FFMC license; operates in foreign currency exchange and travel cards, blending physical and digital for T2+ India.

2025

Co-founded LEXI Platform as co-founder and CEO—AI-native trade and payments infrastructure to modernize Indian exports, built out of GIFT City. Took its subsidiary LexiMoney through IFSCA's Payment Service Provider process to in-principle approval.

2026

Started one7x Labs—removing manual work from business operations with AI agents built into the systems a company already runs on. Early, and I'll write about it as it goes.

Along the way: named inventor on ten granted US patents, co-author on two IEEE papers, and three books. They look good on LinkedIn, but the real learning has been in the messy, everyday work of building products people actually use.

How I think about work

Most of the value is in deciding what not to build. I’ve shipped an enterprise blockchain and AI into a legacy stack, and in both the hard part was never the technology—it was working out honestly which part was real, before the money went out the door.

Start small, even if you’re dreaming big. Think from first principles. Trust people unless there’s a reason not to. And learn or die—the moment you stop learning, you’re obsolete.

I’m still figuring things out, one build at a time. I write most of it down in my newsletter.
